Can you believe it? My mother’s been married a year? Well, just a year to go and I’m off. Last year at this time, I was at Barbara’s (Ellen’s) house the start of my week there. I lost weight then, it was a really fun week, very different than my life now though. Today, I clean and pack for Maria’s. I’ll wash my hair either today or tomorrow. I have such a beautiful tan, that I was thinking about going out in the sun today. I want to keep this tan. I’ve really got to be so good. I have so many things to do. I’ve got to finish writing Mary’s letter. She’s really depending on it and she really is sincere about wanting that letter from me. And I do want to give it to her. I’m also going to write Mrs. Chasan a letter soon also. I’ll finish my book and start Lady Chatterley’s Lover. I hope I love that book. I’ll lose weight, make money, win in court, see Mary for her 18th birthday and off to Miami y San Juan, and I better go too, with Elaine. So that’s about all that’s on my mind – being good and accomplishing things – losing weight so I don’t get sick.
