THURSDAY MORNING 12:45 A.M.
You have been chosen to be my new notebook for Washington. I must write something in here. We're leaving this afternoon. I still have many things to do. I really do hope that I write about Washington. I remember before I even wrote, when I was eleven and in sixth grade, I kept a written record of our church group's trip to Philadelphia. It was really neato, but I never held my little book with much esteem, except that I kept writing and writing! I find that so interesting now! I think I'll walk through Washington with my notebook. I'll probably meet with much criticism. But it's important to me.
3rd PERIOD - SPANISH CLASS
I hate this class so much. It’s so boring and a waste of my time. I really HATE to say bad things but I'm more serious about Spanish than the others in this class. I just came from History and I decided that I hate American history because our government oppressed black people and Indians and they were so god damned prejudiced and I can't stand it. 6:20 P.M. - ON THE VAN After Spanish I went two period of Chemistry. Yuck! I was so bored there too. During the lab, I accidentally ran into Camile. Nothing happened but I got jumpy and I started to cry, but I refrained myself. You see, last Friday, I had a terrible accident in Chemistry class. I spilled hydrochloric acid all over Miss Kocher. I felt so terrible! Today was our first lab since then and I was really afraid to do my experiment. I didn’t want to do it actually at all, but I couldn't upset Miss Kocher more. So all morning, I was sort of depressed and in Spanish, Mr. Maher wouldn't let me participate in the blue gold contest. Bummer! But they won without me and I'm glad we won (gold). I went to lunch today - tuna - my favorite. I only had a little, usually I eat a lot of the school's tuna, but I wasn't that hungry. Mrs. Chasan finally came in because we planned to go to Shor's to get a birthday card for Amy. So we went and it was fun. English - after lunch- was fun too. We signed the card for Amy and had a blue gold contest. I hardly participated. I just kept writing a note to Amy. It was a fun class. Then sex Ed. We saw a dumb film, but I thought it an entertaining ways to pass the class time away. Then ensemble - BOR-ING! I thought it would never end. I got depressed again. But I learned the dance routine for Ladies who sing in the band. Then it went faster. When Miss Prudon let us out, I immediately went to look for Maria to talk to her. We rushed to the store and then we talked in the locker room.
8:40 P.M
We're sitting in a McDonalds' in Baltimore now. Jed got 4 hamburgers and Rob got 2 Big Macs and chicken McNuggets. Mr. Ambrose is making fun of the paintings of Ronald McDonald. It's funny. On the way down, we passed a fire. Everybody was impressed.
