LATIN
Let me catch up here on my writing here in Latin class. Ellen and Michelle are writing their rough copies now. I'd like to do something but don't want to do any other homework. I'll do it during lunch. Friday I went straight to Ellen's house ans was fast asleep at 4:30. Woke up for a few minutes at 7:00, and then at 8:00. Ellen went to Miss Prudon's for dinner with teh other singing groups and then sang at the Wine and Cheese party. Barbara and Tom went too. Ray came over and we talked for 15 minutes about the prom. Imagine was the class song. Mrs. Hoffman and I watched T.V. I fell asleep. She was watching Dallas, a repeat, the one where J.R. gets shot. Barbara and Ellen came home, we talked and then went to bed. We were late at the fair Saturday but that's okay. I couldn't find my cupcakes. Mrs. Dewitt and Miss MacWhinney were a big help. I was very pleased. I finally found them in the locked fridge. I had ten cupcakes. Dan is watching me write this and I'm trying to cover it up. He is being funny and helping me. I think he's offended. Paul and Allen C. were at the fair. We all had a good time. I bought Marigolds for Ellen, Mary and Miss Geier. I bought Geraniums for Mrs. Hoffman and Barbara for Mother's Day. Melissa and Ellen and Paul went to Suzie's for her 16th Birthday Cookout. They had a good time. I got together with Mary and by the way, I ran all the way!! What endurance!! She went with me to get a Mother's Day Card. I was funny. I couldn't find any suitable. Mary and I were laughing. I bought 3 boxes of candy and sat on the corner with Mary and ate them. At 5 of 8, we proceeded to walk to Melissa and Ellen on Irvington. It was cute. I said to Mary when we were about 20 feet away, "your best friend is walking with my best friend." She really thought that was funny. We all went to the liquor store and bought Rosato Riunite and drank it on Mr. Scoz's street. Then we went to Mary's and were real tired and acting weird. Ellen played the painao and I ate a cream cheese and jelly sandwich. We went home at 10:30. Barbara was really hyper and in a fantastic mood. We all went upstairs to watch Play it Again, Sam at 11:45, but we all fell asleep.
