HISTORY (HA HA)

Mister V's wearing the ugliest tie today. I told Melissa it was a joke, but she says the Juniors have already asked him and he said he like it. Well...anyway, how ironic to wear it on April Fool's Day.

(Author's note: For years I wondered whether I actually got a good education at Vail-Deane, my private school. For years I just couldn't tell because I had nothing to compare it to. I now believe that I did indeed get a good education and I do wish I had paid attention more in class, but I just couldn't. Mr. V, Mr. Viall, Mr. Tom Viall, Mr. Thomas Viall are all the same person from above).

Written later the same day and into the early morning hours of the next day:

I did 300 sit-ups last night and 300 leg lifts on each leg. Simply must go on a diet with Ellen some day soon, like Monday. I watched all three hours and ten minutes of the Academy Awards. I do want to be part of it all one day.

I could go on like this for pages. I'm so sorry MTM (Mary Tyler Moore) didn't win! But ecstatic for Tim (Timothy Hutton).

Lillian Gish, Nastassia Kinski, Brooke Shields, and Jane Seymour were all there. (Yea)!

(Author's note: During this period of deep depression that I was in, which I never really got out of, my sleep became extremely difficult for me. I would often stay up all night wide awake and unable to sleep and of course would be extremely tired all the next day. This is a classic symptom of depression. I also put on a ton of weight as my eating changed as well. Whereas I once was never interested in food, even from infancy, food suddenly became important to me. I would often eat odd things that I would never normally touch, like crackers with margarine. Truly - YUCK!!! Definitely not my kind of food, but for some reason that kind of food became
